A sweeping scene of Swiss mountains, glacial waterfalls and never-ending hiking trails, Switzerland is the definition of rural beauty. And where better to experience it all than KISC? As the home of international friendship, this Mini Jamboree is full of Scouting spirit and camp camaraderie. Spend your days hiking, biking and river rafting, then lap up the KISC life at night with Scout groups from around the world at the International Campfire. Ultimately, a Scout trip to Switzerland is as soul-warming as it is adventurous.
We’re thrilled to see groups are as keen as ever to get back to KISC and it’s no surprise that availability is extremely limited and groups are already planning ahead for 2023 and even 2024. Due to KISC’s own Centenary events taking place in 2023 we are unable to offer our usual ‘summer set departure’ programme, however we have some amazing alternatives and destinations you need to consider.
Find your adventure 👇
KISC offers over 130 varied activities, so your Scout group will be active from morning to night! Here’s a small sample of activities available…
The summer toboggan run at Oeschinenesee is an unforgettable experience. Set off from a height of around 150 metres and travel over a distance of 750 metres.
River rafting opens the challenges of whitewater to everybody. Teamwork and professional guides allow novices and veterans alike to enjoy the beauty and excitement of whitewater in the Swiss Alps.
The High Ropes Park Interlaken is a forest adventure of wooden bridges, tarzan swings and zip lines. 9 courses of varying difficulty and height provide an exciting day out for beginners and adrenaline seekers.
In much of July and August 2022, groups will enjoy our exclusive Venture Abroad campsite, with tents up and ready for your arrival and catering equipment provided for you.
Unfortunately, we are unable to offer our exclusive campsite in 2023 (only!) due to KISC’s own planned events, therefore groups have the option of providing their own camping equipment or opting for indoor accommodation.
Venture Abroad’s service will return to normal in summer 2024 with the exclusive campsite returning with all tents and catering equipment included in your trip.
Our ‘summer set departure’ programmes are a 10-day trip travelling by coach giving you plenty of time to explore all that KISC and the surrounding areas has to offer. Of course, you can opt to create your own completely tailor-made trip which allows you to choose to travel by air, rail or coach and for your preferred duration.
