Itinerary
How your adventure is mapped out day to day…
Day 1
Morning: Depart the UK by flight and arrive in Iceland
Afternoon: Transfer by coach to Úlfljótsvatn Scout Centre where you can check out the on-site activities and settle in
Evening: Enjoy an evening at leisure
Day 2
Morning: Depart by coach for the famous Golden Circle Tour, where you’ll visit three of Iceland’s most iconic sights: Thingvellir Park, Geysir and Gullfoss
Afternoon: Watch Strokkur Geyser erupt, see the plummeting waters of Gullfoss and discover the tectonic plate boundaries of the Mid-Atlantic Ridge, before stopping off at the Secret Lagoon
Evening: Enjoy an evening at leisure
Day 3
Morning: Spend the day exploring the sights of Reykjavik, including its museums and art galleries, before a whale watching boat trip
Evening: Enjoy an evening at leisure
Day 4
Morning: Spend the day hiking across a glacier! An expert guide will take you up close to the white and blue iced rivers, point out the fascinating ice features and let you drink glacial water
Evening: Enjoy an evening at leisure
Day 5
Morning: Enjoy a day of on-site activities and volunteering, where you’ll receive your very own badge
Evening: On your final evening enjoy a traditional campfire night
Day 6
Morning: Transfer to the airport for your flight home

Just 26km from Thingvellir National Park and home to a number of nearby hiking paths, Úlfljótsvatn Scout Centre is the perfect base for adventure enthusiasts. Choose to stay in indoor huts or camp outside (all tents are provided).
