To say that this area of Wales really has it all is an understatement – from rugged mountain trails to scenic coastal paths and old industrial sites to heritage train lines, there really is something to please everyone in Snowdonia.
In 4 days, our Pre-Annual Meeting Tour will aim to showcase some of the best of this beautiful region of Wales by boat, rail and coach. You’ll see some of the region’s beautiful towns and most spectacular sights, including the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Caernarfon Castle. And a trip to this area wouldn’t be complete without seeing at least some of the natural splendour of Snowdonia National Park and the magnificent Snowdon.
*Prices are per paying passenger and based on 2 people sharing a twin room (single room supplement applies) and a minimum of 40 paying passengers.
Meet the coach at Llandudno Train Station ready to depart for your hotel in Caernarfon. You’ll enjoy an afternoon at leisure exploring the wonderful town of Caernarfon prior to an evening meal at your hotel.
Following breakfast at the hotel, you will depart for the Isle of Anglesey and visit Plas Cadnat Gardens, where you will have time to explore the stunning gardens.
In the afternoon you will travel to beautiful Beaumaris, with its medieval castle and Victorian pier. You will depart from here for a 90-minute boat cruise to Puffin Island. Finish the day with an evening meal at your hotel.
Today you will enjoy a ride on the Welsh Highland Railway, the UK’s longest heritage railway, which runs past the foot of Snowdon. You will leave the train in Porthmadog, where the coach will meet you and take you to the picturesque village of Portmeirion. There will be time at leisure to explore the shops and gardens, before returning to the hotel for your evening meal.
After breakfast you will have the chance to explore Caernarfon Castle, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. In the afternoon, you will depart by coach, taking the scenic route through Snowdonia National Park with a short stop at Trefriw Woollen Mills, before arriving at your hotel of choice in Llandudno for the Annual Meeting Weekend.

Located within walking distance of Caernarfon’s walled town and castle, a UNESCO World Heritage site, the Celtic Royal Hotel is the perfect base for our Pre-Annual Meeting Tour. Whilst the hotel itself dates back to the 18th century, all rooms are modern and comfortable with en-suite bathrooms, television and tea and coffee-making stations.
The hotel boasts an indoor heated swimming pool, sauna, bubble pool and steam room for relaxing after a wonderful day out exploring this beautiful area of Wales. Meals will be served in the relaxed ambience of the Castell Restaurant.
