Friday 18th – Monday 21st June 2021
The 2021 Trefoil Guild Annual Meeting is heading to one of North Wales’ prettiest coastal towns, Llandudno. For the 19th year, we’re offering our 3-night weekend break at a choice of quality seafront hotels, letting you make the most of the Annual Meeting with evening entertainment and local excursions options.
With our Venture Abroad Representatives on-hand throughout the weekend, you’re free to enjoy your time with old friends and new without worrying about the arrangements. Fill your time before and after the Annual Meeting by strolling along the promenade, dipping your toes in the sea, walking down the longest pier in Wales and visiting one of the town’s quaint cafes.
Make sure to get your bookings in early for your preferred choice of hotel!
2021 will be our 19th Annual Meeting Weekend and we couldn’t be more excited to welcome back old friends and make first time travellers with Venture Abroad feel right at home.
After 18 years, we like to think we have the winning recipe for a fantastic weekend!
Ensure you make the most of your weekend by adding a day excursion of your choice and evening entertainment both on Sunday and both hosted by Venture Abroad! (supplementary costs applies)
Day excursions options may include:
If you’re travelling to Lladudno by train, a Venture Abroad Representative will meet you at the station and you’ll be taken to your hotel on one of our set departure coach transfers. Check into your hotel of choice, where the Venture Abroad Representatives will be based throughout the weekend to ensure your stay runs smoothly. Enjoy time to relax with an evening meal (included in the package price).
Following breakfast at your hotel, enjoy a morning at leisure walking along the beach or exploring the nearby sights. The Annual Meeting will take place in the afternoon. Return transport to the Annual Meeting venue from the hotel will be arranged for members who require it.
On Sunday, there will be a range of optional day excursions that you can book onto prior to the Annual Meeting Weekend (supplementary cost applies). They’ll give you the opportunity to enjoy some of the most beautiful points of interest in and around this area of North Wales. To round off the weekend, why not join your fellow Trefoil Guild friends for an evening of entertainment organised by the Venture Abroad team? It is always a great night with local performers and there is always a theme – fancy dress is optional!
Bid Llandudno goodbye and either join the coach departing for our post-tour to discover some of Mid Wales’ sights or return home.
Itinerary subject to change prior to departure.

The Imperial is an elegant 4 star hotel, perfectly situated in the heart of the beautiful Llandudno promenade with remarkable views across the bay and the striking headlands. All bedrooms are en suite with flat screen televisions, toiletries and hospitality trays as standard. The Samphire Brasserie & Bar is a great place to catch up with friends in between exploring the town of Llandudno.
The Risboro Hotel is an independent family run hotel, offering guests a warm welcome to Llandudno. The hotel is located just a short walk from the promenade and just 1-mile from Venue Cymru. We always ask for feedback to ensure that our weekends remain high quality and value for money – and here’s what some of our Trefoil friends had to say about the 2019 Annual Meeting in Southport.
I have always enjoyed Venture Abroad’s holidays. So much detail in the paper work so we know what we are doing each day.Betty Gosling, Walton-on-Thames Trefoil Guild
