Our KISC Rep, Daniel, has arrived in Kandersteg to welcome the first Scout groups for the summer season! In true Kandersteg style, it’s all go with hiking, white water rafting and classic Scouting campfires! He gives us the low down on the start of summer at KISC…
It’s a few days now since Lewis and I arrived in Kandersteg, Switzerland. We’ve been busy setting up for our groups coming in and also getting to know our first group, 52 SAS 105. They have joined us from Glasgow and are having a great time making memories!
So far, they have been hiking around the valley, getting to know other groups at the KISC International Evening and they have been white water rafting and canyoning in Interlaken. Tonight, I have left them as they embark on two different overnight expeditions; half the kids are going to the Ueschinenhutte and the other half are doing a glacier workshop on their way to the Frundenhutte. Later in the week they have an awesome schedule, including climbing, zip wires, campfires, rodelbahn and many more exciting activities.
