This week I have been lucky enough to have had two visits to the beautiful city of Amsterdam – on Wednesday with the 2nd Great Pardon Scouts and again today with the 2nd Cherry Hinton Guides! Both groups enjoyed a relaxing canal tour, complete with commentary about the history of the city, and a visit to the Anne Frank museum. Today was the hottest day of the year so far so it was certainly lucky that we discovered the stunning Rijks museum to have our lunch. This features an amazing garden with a fountain, maze and even a huge sign saying ‘I am Amsterdam!’ -definitely somewhere worth visiting again! I’ll be sad to see the groups leaving tomorrow but am excited for who the new coach brings on their Dutch adventure!
