An exciting start to the week for both the St Albans and Bayston Hill scouts, kicking off with the flag break and international games which was a great opportunity to meet loads of new people from all around the world. The first day was spent visiting lake Oeschinensee for the Bayston Hill Scouts followed by an evening of fun at the international barbecue that all of our groups attended.
Time flies when you are having fun, and the first few days have! Both groups have experienced the thrills of white water rafting on the Simme and Lutschine rivers as well as many other activities around Kandersteg, from visiting the local pool and taking part in the backwoods workshops to mountain walking and challenging via ferratas.
An amazing few days topped off with a nice international evening in the Kanderlodge, our groups enjoyed stacks of traditional foods and got stuck in to badge swapping. This pace isn’t stopping, so hold on tight!
