What a couple of days we have had! We had a relaxing Sunday chilling on the campsite (where Dave Marjoram had an outside “bath”), playing some games in the morning. We had an International Sports Afternoon where we played with and against the Welsh in football and volleyball. Even the leaders had an all-leaders game of volleyball! After the official tournament, we had an unofficial England VS Wales match with the entire 14th troop facing a troop of about 10 (including some adults) from Wales. We won 5-2 🙂
Today (Monday) was a great day – despite being woken up at 5.30am! We caught 5 trains over 4 hours to get to the top of Jungfrau, the highest point in Europe. A great time was had by everyone. After seeing the sights and doing the tour, some people chilled out in the snow or the cafeteria while most went snow sledging, tubing and even snowboarding!
There were some great photo’s taken over the past couple of days which we would love to upload, unfortunately we can only upload so many at once so the photo today is of the whole group on top of the Jungfrau.
Tomorrow’s (Tuesday) plan is to do the cheesery and Bunderspitz hikes so check back to see how they went!
That’s all for now.
