The Scout Association Website

The Scout Association website is a great place when planning an international trip. You’ll find helpful information on the ‘Thinking of Going Abroad’ page which outlines the steps to organising your trip.

Venture Abroad Website and Brochure

Assistant County Commissioner International

Your local ACCI can offer you support and advice with your trip planning. If you don’t know who your ACCI is, you can find out via the Scout Information Centre.

Speak to those who’ve done it!

Speaking to someone who has been abroad with their group is really useful and reassuring in the early planning stages. Whether you seek advice from people you know in the Scout Network or ask your ACCI to put you in touch with someone in your county who has been abroad with their group, you can pick up pearls of wisdom from those who’ve been there, done that and bought the t-shirt!

We can also put you in touch with party leaders who have travelled with us before so you can find out more about travelling abroad with your group from someone who has done it with Venture Abroad.
