Sparta explorers have arrived and got straight into the Swiss culture, beginning their adventure with international sports competitions and celebrating theirs and others home towns at international evening.

During the international evening the Spanish made a feast of Paella, the Irish performed a dance and Sparta taught everyone to make UK key rings using knot skills. What would you bring?

Next Sparta split in two with half enjoying a challenging but rewarding cheesery hike and their first view of the Swiss mountains up close. Whilst the other half completed a day’s volunteering with the service team for UNESCO. This involved visiting a Swiss farm and supporting in the chopping down and clearing of trees to support and help with Swiss environment. A fantastic experience and they met some wonderful people, kindly rewarded with some Swiss cheese!

Today the groups swap places…… I wonder where there UNESCO day will take them.
