Iceland is soon set to be a very lively place once again! Not because Hekla, Katla or Eyjafjallajokull volcanoes are due to erupt but because the third Trefoil Tour to Iceland is soon to begin! Monday March 4th is UK departure/Iceland arrival day; Iceland is ready and waiting; all is presently quiet, tectonically speaking!
I am delighted to have been asked to once again lead the TGTtI. On the previous two tours to Iceland the Trefoil Guild participants have been wonderful to be amongst. At all times enthusiastic, always wanting to know much about the country, its nature and its customs and certainly game for many exhilarating experiences, being with members of the Trefoil Guild has been most enjoyable.
The itinerary for this year’s tour is as varied as ever. Iceland is a country with vast quantities of natural, raw beauty and to develop an itinerary is never a challenge in terms of finding enough places to visit and experience – it’s what to miss out that is the problem!
Check back later this week, when I will give you the run-down of the exciting Icelandic experience that awaits the Trefoil Guild members.
