The explorers set off today in their matching hoodies , only to be asked by some Americans at the train station if the hoodies were that colour because British people are called limies!
We’ve had a fantastic day at De Kijkuit 8th Worthing explorers have tested their nerves on the high ropes, put their trust in their friends and leaders for the zip wire, been Robin Hood for the archery competition, ran over their leader BMXing and set sail in their canoes down the stunning canal. All in all a brilliant jam packed day!
They made it back!
the memories of Sam R : waking up early, had breakfast and set off on our journey first a train to Brugge then one more to Beernem. We then had a short work De Kijkuit where we took part in 6 activities the activities included high ropes – which was a little wobbly, zip wire where we enjoyed the experience of being a breaker!
next it was archery where I got 2 bulls eyes then we had lunch and took a boat across to BMX and assault course. Where Sam H took a fast run on the BMX straight over poor Paul his leader who had just fallen off his bike. We finished off canoeing with a waterfight. Now we’re clean and home and awaiting curry!
