Yesterday I welcomed 1st Seer Green Scouts and Walford Scouts for the first week of the summer season. They had quite a long journey but they did arrive to a SUNNY Kandersteg which is amazing! Hooray!
Today 1st Seer Green headed off to Oeschinensee. A lot of them braved the icy water to go for a swim! They also had a go on the amazing Rodelbahn, or summer sled run, (my favourite activity!)
Walford Scouts spent the morning relaxing at the swimming pool before heading back to campsite for international sports afternoon of. football and volleyball.all the scouts that attend are split into international teams. There were some Walford Scouts in the winning team, well done guys!!!
Both groups enjoyed a BBQ dinner out the front of the chalet tonight.
Tomorrow 1st Seer Green are rafting and canyoning, whilst the Walford scouts have been split into three groups for rafting, tubing and climbing. I’m heading with some of them on the tubing trip so hopefully some good photos to follow! We’ve also got the International Evening tomorrow night, so a busy day too.
