Today the 2nd Cherry Hinton Guides faced any fears of heights by climbing up to through trees to the high ropes course. I have to admit, I was petrified, but we all gave it our best shot and managed to conquer the course! It includes wobbly bridges, jumping gaps, tightropes and even the fateful tyre ending before abseiling down a tree to reach the ground. Definitely a fun-filled afternoon but I’ll have to take a big breath before tackling it again! Perhaps it would have been better for me to join the 2nd Great Pardon Scouts in their exploration of the history of Scouting in the museum – that might have been a bit less scary!
