I can’t believe the time has come to write the last blog post this week! We have had such a fun filled and action packed camp, we all have lasting memories to take home with us.
Our final day in Belgium has been spent at Walibi Theme Park which was thoroughly enjoyed by all. After many, many goes on all of the roller coasters (apparently the Belgians have a thing about going backwards!) we finished off the day with a soaking (literally!) on the rapids.
We headed back to camp where we enjoyed an excellent dinner of pizza and garlic bread from the local takeaway. A huge thank you to the guys at De Kluis reception for translating the menu for us and to Rachel who waited for the forgotten pizzas to arrive!
We will be heading home tomorrow, very tired but very happy after a truly unforgettable week.
A massive, massive thank you to Rachel for being an amazing rep and always being on hand to help. You are a star!
Also, a big shout out to the boys and leaders from 7th Exmouth Scouts for being wonderful camp mates for the week. I’m sure the foundations of many lasting friendships have been laid.
Thank you all for reading the blog this week, and for your kind comments, we really do appreciate it.
Until next time! 🙂
