Well the weather is on our side as the sun decided to make an appearance (hurrah!), just in time for our trip into Scarborough. Once dropped off by our lovely coach driver, Dave, the Trefoil ladies set off to explore what the town has to offer.

A few of the ladies chose to visit the old parish church of St Marys whilst others explored Scarborough Castle and admired the beautiful views it boasts. Some appreciated the sea a bit closer up, choosing a cosy café to enjoy tea and cakes. Along with tea and cake, a chip lunch was a firm favourite! A particular highlight of the day included riding around the town on the open top bus. The ladies assured me it wasn’t too chilly!

Of course, no trip to the beach would be complete without a stroll along the sands!

After today, I am looking forward to dinner and another good day tomorrow, beginning with a trip on the North Yorkshire Moors Railway destination, Whitby!
