We’re at the halfway point of Trefoil Guild 13’s Swiss stint in Adelboden, but the fun is far from being over! Over the past few days, this group have been busy taking in all that the village has to offer.

On Monday they headed for the dizzying heights of the Silleren Climbing Tower, home to the spectacular high ropes course and the 166m viewing platform, which offers a breath-taking panoramic view. Yesterday we headed off on the long (but rewarding!) walk to Trummer Holzschnitzerei, where the group got to pick up their personalised woggles and buy some of the amazing hand-carved goodies for sale in the Woodcarver’s shop. On the way back, we took a detour via Cholerenschlucht – a 100m-long gorge hidden away in the hills of Adelboden, featuring an impressive waterfall.

After such a busy day yesterday, the group have taken things a bit slower today, with a wander up to Adelboden village and around the beautiful church, which was built in 1433. Following this, the group headed up on the cable cars to Tschentenalp, which sits 680m above Adelboden village and offers fantastic views of the Engstligen Valley, Lohner, Wildstrubel and as far as the Wildhorn.

Excited to see what this group get up to over the next few days!
