With so much to see and do in and around the spectacular village of Adelboden, your group will probably end up spending long days out and about. They’ll be plenty of “are we nearly there yet?” but it’ll all be worth it and here are our top 5 reasons why!
There’s always something to look at!
You’ll get to see more of the wonderful Swiss countryside along the way, from soaring glaciated mountain tops to quaint market towns.
You get to see some stunning landmarks.
Trummelbach Falls: The Trummelbach falls are Europe’s largest underground waterfall network, carrying glacial meltwater down the valley at a speed of 20,000l of water per second – amazing!
Jungfraujoch: Go to the top of Europe at the Jungfrau, where you’ll travel to Europe’s highest train station built in 1912. With an ice palace full of incredible sculptures, a viewing platform out onto the glacier, a chance to play in the snow in August and a chocolate shop, the Jungfrau is not to be missed!
Murren: Take a cable car up to the picturesque village of Murren, nestled on a mountain terrace above the Lauterbrunnen valley, and where you can enjoy panoramic views of the Eiger, Monch and the Jungfrau.
