Tough day today, climbing a mountain the size of Snowdon with a phenomenal view from the top. Despite the constant rain, some girls made it to the slippery and muddy waterfall viewing point. It was great feeling the spray in your face!

We all feel chuffed for reaching the top! Some found it more of a challenge than others but the lure of ice cream kept them putting one foot in front of the other. Some girls then decided to take the scenic cable car back down.

Meanwhile, the walk down was a pleasant surprise and the constant singing provided great motivation. The whole walk was totally worth it!

Interesting quote of the day: “the only way you’re getting me off this mountain is by shooting me out of a cannon”!

Young leader random event of the day: half way down the scree-covered path, one leader thought they saw a green Ford car passing at high speed!  Needless to say, it may have been a hallucination! (This wasn’t Vicky or Emma)
Steps walked: 28,500 (21.8 km)

We climbed this and more!
