So we’ve had a great few days with 1st Hibaldstow and Scawby, 3rd Warwick and 1st Alcester!
The Guys from 1st Hibladstow and Scawby spent Sunday up at the lake, almost everyone went for a swim and had loads of fun on the Rodelbahn.
On Monday morning they helped the centre with some service work before heading down the the pool in the afternoon to relax (although I think most of them spent the entire afternoon jumping of the diving boards!)
Tuesday was an early start for them as they headed up to the highest train station in Europe – the Jungfraujoch of course! Some of the younger scouts had an enjoyable day river tubing on the Aare. This morning has been a little more relaxed with some badge work going on and the explorers preparing for their overnight hike to Gfelalp.
3rd Warwick also had a great day at the Jungfrau on Sunday and perfect weather for a great view from the top. Monday they had a chilled morning doing a little shopping and then a late afternoon at the pool. Tuesday was another early start as everyone headed off for the cherry hike. Today they are enjoying the sunshine up at Oeschinensee and plan to swim in the lake and enjoy the Rodelbahn.
1st Alcester have also had a great first half the week, enjoying the International Sports afternoon on Sunday and a great day at the lake on Monday. Yesterday they spent the day in Bern and followed KISC’s Bern trail around the city. For the last three days they have been split into three groups and are rotating through the Cheesery Hike, climbing at Winteregg (a great climbing area near the centre) and the onsite abseiling course.
Check back soon for more photos and updates on what all the groups are getting up to!
