Panorama of Oeschinensee – Thanks Mid Sussex!

Firstly, sorry for a very delayed blog post! It’s been very hectic out here at KISC! As you can see from Aspley Gise’s blog post there has been so much going on and that’s just one of three groups!

150th Wadsley Church Scouts visited an old military fortress followed by the Brigerbad thermal pools. Again the slide was a great hit with both Scouts and Leaders! Friday the group headed over to Adleboden for a day on the Trotti bikes. Trotti bikes are essentially scooters with mountain bike wheels and brakes. You get the cable car up the mountain and then scoot back down, all the fun of mountain biking but without the hills!

On Friday evening the leaders got a rest from cooking and all 56 of them had dinner at Des Alpes to celebrate a great camp.

On Wednesday Mid Sussex went on the Chocolate and Cheese factory tour! Cerntainly a few sick feeling scouts as they tried TWO of each chocolate!

What do you mean we've had too much chocolate?!

Thursday was spent relaxing around camp and┬áplying crazy golf in town. They also fitted in a spot of swimming! In the evening they went to Des Alpes for a traditional Swiss Fondue at Des Alpes. The Fondue wasn’t to taste for all scouts but it was very cultural and traditional!

Friday was another semi-relaxing day spent up at Oeschinensee and then back to Des Alpes for a pizza night, not quite traditional but still very delicous!

All in all a great, jam packed, exciting week for all three groups!

Today I welcomed Odiham Scouts, 72nd Portsmouth Scouts and 1st Chalfont St Giles Scouts for the penultimate week of the summer season. Check back to see what they get up to!
