Beaver and Elk Safari
A unique experience for any visitor to Norway would be a safari out to the lakes and into the forests to find Beavers, Elks and Moose. The guides local knowledge and experience makes your safari exciting and enjoyable. These trips are suitable for everyone and start with a bus trip before hopping into canoes for a gentle paddle on a peaceful lake. The centre prides itself on taking care of the environment: the animals are not disturbed; you will still however see these unique Scandinavian animals in their natural habitats and be able to take photos of them.

Lavvos

Lavvos (teepee tents) accommodate up to twelve people sleeping on a raised wooden platform. Toilets, kitchens, kiosk and showers are in the service building 50 -100m away from the campground. Indoor accommodation is also available for a supplementary cost. This accommodation is either in a youth hostel in 3 – 7 bedded rooms or self-contained cabins, each sleeping up to 4 people. The youth hostel has a large self-catering kitchen and each cabin has a kitchenette and sofa.
