2011 marks the year of the World Scout Jamboree in Sweden and is one of the eagerly anticipated highlights of the year for Guiding members all over the world.

Due to popular request, we have developed a number of exciting travel options for all members of Girlguiding UK which will include a day at the Sweden Jamboree so that you can be part of this amazing event!

Sweden is the largest of the Scandinavian countries and if this is your first visit, there is far more to this vast country than you possibly could have imagined! A huge sense of space and fresh country air will greet you on arrival as well as visions of intense green countryside, coniferous forests, little red cottages atop remote islands, long sandy beaches and, everywhere, Sweden’s famously crystal clear water. With such an awe-inspiring backdrop, there is no greater way to enjoy your Jamboree experience, meeting fellow Guides from all over the world as well as friendly locals and experiencing the activities and sights that Southern Sweden has to offer.

Tickets for the Visitor days are not yet available for purchase. Please note that tickets are subject to availability on a first come, first served basis. Venture Abroad will advise you on the purchase of tickets and whether we are able to do this on your behalf. Please note the above prices do not include the ticket fee for entrance to the Jamboree Visitor day.
