2014 is an extra special year for all members of Girlguiding and we won’t be letting the occasion go by without throwing a party to mark the occasion. On the Sunday morning, join us and other Brownies at Café Mickey for Venture Abroad’s Birthday Breakfast! Plus, to make the party extra special we have invited some of your favourite Disney characters to join us! Friday

Leave the UK by coach after school on Friday; take a short journey over (or under) the channel; sit back and relax as you make the final stretch of your journey; then, late evening or early Saturday morning, you get your eagerly anticipated, first glimpse of Disneyland Paris

Saturday

After breakfast, coaches will take you on the short drive from your hotel to the Disney Parks and Disney^® Village, where you will have the full day free to enjoy the magical thrills, spills and attractions – after all this is what you are here for! After a day in the parks, why not continue the fun and camaraderie and dine at Planet Hollywood?

Sunday

Why not start the final day by joining the Brownie Breakfast at Café Mickey where you will be joined by some of your favourite Disney characters? It’s a great way to celebrate 100 years of Brownies! Afterwards you may wish to explore the Disney Village or if you have purchased a 2 day ‘hopper’ ticket, you can head straight to the Disney Parks before departing on your journey home. Alternatively our optional visit to Paris is available for groups who have sole use of their coach.

The above is a sample itinerary and can be tailored specifically to your group – contact us for further details. The itinerary featured applies to groups travelling by coach for two nights with a one or two day ‘’hopper’ ticket enabling access into both the Disneyland^® Park and Walt Disney Studios^® Park on the Saturday. Your itinerary will vary depending on your departure location.

Wilderness fun and adventure

Just a 15-minute drive from the Disney^® Parks yet seemingly worlds away, the legend of Davy Crockett is alive and well. Nestle into your own private bungalow and unwind in this quaint, rustic escape.

These spacious dwellings, harmonised within the tranquil woodlands of their natural surroundings, have become our groups’ favourite with space for up to six people, wagonloads of outdoor activities, sports and leisure facilities and plenty of home-away-from-home amenities, like your own fully-equipped kitchen. Slumber to the sound of rustling leaves and awake to a symphony of chirping birds. A safe, carefree environment with a magical touch of Disney…Naturally!

Welcome to the Wild West Frontier

Round up the youngsters, put on your ten-gallon hats, and mosey on over. The authentic flavour of the Wild West is all around, in the best tradition of all your favourite classic Hollywood westerns. So giddyup!

With a horseshoe on the door and a cowboy-boot shaped lamp, the standard and comfortable rooms have one double bed and a set of bunk beds, a bathroom, telephone, television with international channels, radio and a ceiling fan.

Getting to Disneyland Paris in January 2014 has never been so easy, just follow our 6 easy steps to ensure your Brownie, Guide or Senior Section group doesn’t miss out on what is set to be Disneyland Paris’ biggest celebration yet!

• Step 1:

  Request further information about a January Weekend Break or make a provisional booking by contacting the Venture Abroad Team:

  • Submit a contact form via the website
  • Complete our interactive price calculator
  • Phone on 01332 342 050
• Step 2:

  Send a letter to parents, confirming the tour details and asking for a £20.00 deposit per person. Set a deadline to collect deposits.

• Step 3:

  Have a meeting with parents to give them all the details. VA will supply you with any information you will require and can even aid you with a PowerPoint presentation to ensure you cover all the stops.

• Step 4:

  Complete and return the booking form with your deposits.

• Step 5:

  Choose your meals and confirm your itinerary with your dedicated Tour Coordinator

• Step 6:

  Pay your final balance and your work is done! You will receive your final documents information from Venture Abroad a few weeks before departure.

Venture Abroad’s Brownie Breakfast

On Sunday morning you can join other Brownie Units and some of your favourite Disney Characters for a birthday breakfast at Café Mickey to celebrate 100 years of Brownies! Places are limited, so don’t miss out and book early to avoid disappointment. Prices are £18 per child and £22 per adult.
