Venture Abroad specialises in holidays abroad for groups of people with common interests such as Scouting and Guiding.
Closely linked with The Scout Association and The Trefoil Guild, we ensure the service we provide to groups travelling abroad is based on specialist knowledge and of a standard superior to any other operator.
Venture Abroad was founded in 1970 and was the first company in the UK to specialise in offering tour packages for groups of Scouts. In 2001 Rayburn Tours puchased Venture Abroad to add to its tour operator business.

A Comprehensive Service
Venture Abroad arranges a comprehensive package for groups which includes travel, accommodation, full itinerary service, insurance, organisation of excursions and offers specialist advice to party leaders looking to take their group abroad.
Primarily dealing with Scout Leaders, Guide Leaders, Youth group leaders and members of the Trefoil Guild, Venture Abroad is able to organise holidays for all types of special interest groups.
Where We Travel
Venture Abroad offers trips to France, Belgium, Canada, Spain, New Zealand and Switzerland. Some of our destinations change each year so if you have any suggestions please let us know!
We also arrange travel for the Trefoil Guild and each year devise a programme of tours abroad which has so far seen successful tours undertaken to New Zealand, Canada and Iceland. Venture Abroad can also help plan your trip to the AGM along with a post AGM tour.
Organisation
At our Head Office in Derby, Venture Abroad is organised to deal with incoming enquiries, sales, marketing and the full operation of each tour through to departure. There are specialists employed in each of these areas, all of whom are supported by an administration team.
