Sweden - World Scout Jamboree

2011 marks the year of the World Scout Jamboree in Sweden and is one of the eagerly anticipated highlights of the year for Scouting members all over the world. All tours will include a day at the Sweden Jamboree ensuring that you are part of this amazing event!
European Adventurer
This is the ultimate adventure! Covering an expanse of almost 2000 miles from the UK to Sweden with stopovers in four different European countries as well as a day visit to the Jamboree, this option is sure to be a trip of a lifetime for your Troop.
Dates: Wednesday 27th July – Saturday 6th August 2011
There will be activities such as kayaking, biking, orienteering and campfires available at each centre, both on-site and in the nearby vicinity as well as the opportunity to meet other scouts at every centre throughout the tour.
All meals will be provided by our on-site caterers and a rota system for each Troop to assist with the cooking and camp maintenance will be set up prior to departure.

Sample Itinerary
- Day 1 – Depart UK by executive coach and arrive at our selected Scout Centre near Brussels in Belgium late afternoon.
- Day 2 – Day at leisure in Belgium
- Day 3 – Depart Belgium late afternoon for an overnight journey to Denmark
- Day 4 – Arrive at Scout Camp in Denmark early morning
- Day 5 – Day at leisure in Copenhagen
- Day 6 – Transfer to campsite near to the World Jamboree site at Rinkaby
- Day 7 – Day at leisure in Rinkaby
- Day 8 - Visit to the World Jamboree site at Rinkaby
- Day 9 – Depart Rinkaby in the late afternoon and overnight journey
- Day 10 – Early morning arrival at Scout centre in Rotterdam & day at leisure
- Day 11 – Depart for UK and arrive home in the evening
Please note that we can be flexible with your dates, contact us for a tailor-made quotation.
Accommodation will be at a selection of campsites throughout Europe, the majority being Scout owned. All tentage, cooking equipment and dining facilities will be provided and will be set up at each centre on arrival.
