The beautiful village of Adelboden is located in the picturesque region of the Bernese Oberland and surrounded by idyllic alpine scenery. The resort offers a wide variety of excursions and places to explore, such as a special visit to ‘Our Chalet’ where the surrounding areas are abundant with walking paths and spectacular views.
There is so much to do in Adelboden including ice skating, swimming in the local outdoor pool, taking a stroll along the scenic walking paths, cycling and indoor rock climbing, whilst many of our groups enjoy sampling some of the local cuisine, including the famous Swiss fondue. Once you discover the beauty of Adelboden, complete with its reliable and unique public transport system, you won’t believe there will be enough hours in the day to fully explore this stunning and unforgettable destination.

High Ropes Park, Adelboden
Fly across the River with a zip wire, abseil down the riverbank from the bridge, navigate your way across rope bridges and through a ropes course all in one day. Alternatively, by the riverside, there is ample room to play, relax and have a BBQ.

Our Team's Top Excursion...
Jungfraujoch
A truly unique excursion that will take you to the Top of Europe! Enjoy a round-trip by cogwheel railway, which takes you first to Kleine Scheidegg, altitude 2061 metres, at the foot of the notorious Eiger North Wall. Before continuing on through the Eiger tunnel to the stations at Eigerwand and Eismeer, with a five minute stop at each where you can enjoy spectacular sightseeing through large observation windows. The journey terminates at the Jungfraujoch at an altitude of 3475 metres, a place with snow and ice all year. Once at the summit, you can see the peaks of the Vosges Mountains in France and the Black Forest in Germany.

Venture Abroad Swiss Evening
Venture Abroad will be arranging a Swiss evening at a local hotel every Thursday evening. The evening will allow groups to experience traditional Swiss culture including a delicious cheese fondue and entertainment by a local yodelling group. Supplementary costs are applicable.
Venture Abroad can provide various different catering options, which ensures that we can meet the needs of all our groups.
Free grocery delivery: Just let us know what groceries you require and we will deliver them to the chalet ready for your arrival. The cost of the groceries will be payable on arrival to your resort representative.
Food packages: You can buy a set daily catering option from our choice of menus to include the ingredients for two cold and one hot meal. This will be paid for prior to departure and delivered to you in resort.
Hot food delivery: We can arrange for hot meals to be delivered to your chalet when you return from the adventures of the day. Prices start from £7.00 per person for a three course meal. Advance order required.

Swiss Chalets
Your group will have the sole use of one of our traditional Swiss chalets located in the lush, green hills surrounding Adelboden Village and just a 15 minute walk from Our Chalet. Each chalet is ideal for groups of 20-30 people and is equipped with modern kitchen facilities. For alternative group sizes, please contact us and we will be happy to offer substitute accommodation options for your group depending on your requirements.
